In each examination, students must follow the instructions below.

1. Students must attend the examinations on dates, times and places announced by the university or schools. In case the university or schools announce dates, times and places of examinations that differ from the announcement of examination timetables and seats, students must follow the latest announcement. Students who do not attend the examinations as announced are deemed to miss the examinations.

2. In every examination, students must present their student ID card or a temporary card substituting a student ID card that is issued by the Division of Registrar or other cards issued by the government (with photos). Proctoring subcommittee members examine students’ cards and allow them to sign the examination attendance list as proof of examination attendance.

3. If students do not have their name on the examination attendance list or an authority certificate, allowing them to take the examination, they will not be allowed to take the examination. The students must then contact the examination committee at the examination center.

4. If students attend the wrong examination room, the proctoring subcommittee must direct the student to the correct examination room.

     5. Students must wear the university uniform in accordance with the regulations of Mae Fah Luang University in the subject of students’ dress code, year 1999.

      6. If students arrive to the examination room 30 minutes late, they will not be allowed to take the examination and must report themselves to the chairman of the examination committee (of that academic year).The students must clarify the reasons for being late in the form of a late examination request. The chairman of the examination committee considers whether the students will be allowed to take the late examination or not; then informs the result to the schools.

      7. Students must provide the necessary supplies for the examination such as pens, pencils, erasers, rulers, protractors, compasses, etc. The students are not allowed to borrow any equipment from other students; unless the allowance is granted by the proctoring subcommittee.

8. Students are not allowed to bring books, notes, documents, calculators, pencil cases, communicative devices, or any other materials containing symbols and formulas related to the courses in the examination room; unless the allowances are stated in the cover page of the examination papers.

9. Students must enter the examination rooms as soon as they receive permission from the proctoring subcommittee.

10. When students are already seated in the examination room, they must write their name-last name and student ID clearly and completely on the examination papers.The students will start doing the examination only when they receive permission from the proctoring subcommittee.

11.  During the examination periods, students must not talk, contact other students or disturb other students.

12.  Students must follow the instructions stated in the examination papers strictly. When the examination papers are already submitted or the students have already left the examination rooms, they are not allowed to request for any changes in the examination papers.

     13.  Students must not cause any damage to the examination papers or take the examination papers out of the examination room.

     14.  Students will be allowed to leave the examination room after 45 minutes have elapsed in the examination session; however, the students must wait until the proctoring subcommittee collects the examination papers before leaving the examination rooms. Temporarily leaving the examination rooms depends on the discretion and permission of the proctoring subcommittee.

15. After submitting the examination papers to the proctoring subcommittee,

students must leave the examination rooms and avoid the examination areas in order to notdisturb other students who are taking examinations.

16. If a student would like to submit the examination paper early, the students must raise their hand and wait until the proctoring subcommittee collects the paper; then the student can leave the examination room.

17. When the examination time is over, students must stop doing the examination and put the examination paper on the table or the top of a lecture chair.  If there are additional answer booklets, they must be put them in the first answer booklet and wait until the proctoring subcommittee collects the paper and answer booklet(s); then the students can leave the examination room.

Should students fail to follow any instructions, the proctoring subcommittee will report the issues to the chairman of the examination committee (of that academic year) for further consideration.

18. If students break the regulations or participate in any suspicious behaviors of cheating, the proctoring subcommittee is authorized to inspect the students.

Students are not permitted to use the restroom during the examination; except for force majeure and urgent matters depending on the strict discretion of the proctoring subcommittee.
