Programme Philosophy : The Master of Arts in English for Professional Development has been developed on the conceptual basis of cognitivism. It emphasizes the intellectual process, a process that occurs through self-learning. The program offers an appropriate learning experience for learners as well as an inquiry-based education, encouraging knowledge seeking through questioning and problem solving. By combining new experiences with existing knowledge, learners can develop understanding, which is the foundation of learning. This learning method conforms to outcome-based education, which is the key approach in developing this program. This learner-centered education focuses on the learning outcome and contributes to the development of professional personnel. The rapid growth of digital technology has caused the business and industrial sectors to adjust to changes as well as the educational sector.
