Programme Philosophy : Thai language is a significant tool for communication within and outside of the country. It is essential for foreigners who aim to live in Thailand, operate businesses or participate in activities related to the public and private sectors to learn Thai language as well as Thai culture in order to communicate and operate organizations effectively. This program applies Constructivism Theory, a theory that emphasizes learners’ construction of new knowledge and understanding of the subject matter by integrating learners’ new knowledge with the existing knowledge or experience in order to enhance communicative ability, especially linguistic, socio-linguistic, and socio-cultural competence. The theory is used as the foundation for the design and development of the program, enabling the program’s graduates to obtain knowledge and skills in Thai language and to effectively communicate and conduct activities in various disciplines. In addition to language competence, the program fosters Thai cultural understanding in various contexts and inspires graduates to be creative, develop communication and teamwork skills, apply technology-related special skills, and cultivate life-long self-learning habits.
